Conflict Management Is The Great Challenge

On an organizational level, some interpersonal conflicts can be managed by working on how identity is expressed and interpreted; for conflicts that regard encounters/clashes between the identity of single workers and that of organizations, a collective identity and culture can be made more elastic in order to include more diversity. In the case of intractable conflicts, the only solution is the exclusion of certain persons, in particular those who deny the existence of others, as shown by the case of IKEA Poland, that fired an employee due to some homophobic statements.#On a social level, diversity can be the subject of conflicts between different actors and become a geopolitical question. Organizations cannot always avoid this game, and in some situations, must take a position .
