Donald Trump has been elected for the second time as President of the United States of America. From now on, on the chessboard of global currencies, Trump, the dollar, and the euro will be like three domino tiles: the moves of the first will determine the fates of the other two. For the ECB, this could be an opportunity to develop the role of the euro as an international currency. On one condition: that the entire European framework, and its politicians, prove themselves up to the task.
