In China It’s Full (Demographic) Winter

Economic burdens and fears, an uncertain future, lack of childcare services, daily struggles of working mothers: despite the gradual loosening of family planning measures, the “Dragon” is unable to convince its young people to have children. It is a problem that we in the West know well, and according to a UN model, could lead the current population of one billion four hundred million to just eight hundred million by the beginning of the next century.
