Bank Employment in Italy: the Prospects for the Future

According to a recent article in the Financial Times, the main U.S. banks and some large European institutions are preparing mass layoffs to cut costs and preserve satisfactory profitability. And in Italy? The process of reduction of staff has been going on for thirty years, but there are no sharp turns on the horizon. “Thanks” to the dimension of our banks and their lower exposure in investment banking.
