European regulations and stakeholder expectations on sustainability are driving companies to rethink their supply chain management with a focus on greater transparency and accountability. Based on an analysis of over 2,000 companies worldwide, the Monitor for Furniture Pact by the SDA Bocconi Sustainability Lab has highlighted a gap in the adoption of concrete supply chain monitoring practices. However, it also underscores significant opportunities for companies that, through transparency and responsible supply chain management, can respond more effectively to new European regulations and the increasing expectations of consumers and investors.
